Right Expectations ...

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it ... Genesis 1:27-28 (ESV)

Marriage was not created for nor can it satisfy our deepest needs. But it can be satisfying if we understand and operate within the purposes for which it was created.

In a healthy marriage, husband and wife accept God's purposes for marriage and refrain from placing unreasonable expectations on each other.
